Just a quick one.

Ok so I know it has been forever since I posted so I thought I would take a minute and post something that was on my mind, finally!  I cannot get over what a piece of work our President is.  Going over to Israel and lecturing them about anything it is just insulting.  I am tired of this man, his policies, his total and complete lack of leadership.  2016 cannot come fast enough and take Jay Carney with you.  Will the President cut back on his lavish vacations while others are hurting so?  Of course not and lets send our 13 year old to Mexico with the entire secret service on the tax payers dime.

Gun issues, tax issues, healthcare worries, just waiting for the stock market to crash it just gets better.  Anyone hear anything about the shapeshifter lizard man working for the Zionist Cabal and working in the secret service?

So now the real question is, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz or Rand Paul in 2016?  My vote right now is Rubio.

  1. I’m lost, I don’t know what to do…there’s no “like” button!!!

First, not sure if I shared this with you guys or not…but Alex Jone’s (I know…he can be a bit out there) interview of the Obama phone lady is excellent! It’s an hour long, but my friends, it is worth it! It was so refreshing to see one of the low-information-voters see the light! She’s a hoot and I think you’ll enjoy it :) Here’s the link… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cxz6WixgQ-4

I’m with ya brother…can’t wait for this guy to be old news! I’ve been thinking about the 2016 election a lot lately. It’s pretty clear already who will be amongst the Republican nominees. Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz…and then some unfortunate ones like Christy, Jeb, Ryan, and maybe Perry again. All of them have made themselves pretty darn popular lately, but then I asked, who are the options on the Democrat side? Unless Obama decides to make a push here soon for extending the amount of terms a President can serve, I don’t think we’re going to have ANY problems winning in 2016…unless maybe Jeb or Ryan get the nomination. Here’s my reasoning behind each candidate:

Right now I don’t know who my number one pick is, but my ideal ticket would be a Rubio-Rand team. Not yet sure who I want in which position though. Rubio is Hispanic and that could finally tie the Republican party back to that group and gain a LOT of votes! He’s not uber conservative, but I’d take him in a heartbeat over Romney (glad he said he won’t run again…let’s hold him to it!)! Other than needing a glass of water like Obama needs a teleprompter, I think he’d win the hearts of a lot of Americans because he’s young, passionate, and a great communicator.

Until his filibuster, I didn’t really know much about Rand Paul to be honest. I always associated him with his father, and I think that’s a HUGE stereotype he’ll have to overcome. On the flip side of that, he’ll get all the Libertarian/Ron Paul votes! He’s bold, also young, very passionate about transparency and truth, and so on. With Rubio pulling the moderate and Hispanic crowds and Rand pulling the ultra-conservative and Libertarian and Ron Paul crowds…I firmly believe that they would be a landslide win ticket and simultaneously bring the Republican party back some unity and dignity once again.

Ted Cruz has been interesting to watch lately. I have to be honest here and say I’m learning a lot about him in the same was as Rand Paul right now. Dr. Ben Carson would be interesting too, but I think he’d end up like Herman Cain and get pushed out by the media. Sarah Palin is also a possibility that I forgot to mention, but she’s had too much limelight time already, not to mention she’d get pinned with the John McCain stereotype. She might do well as a cabinet member though.

    ...to be continued...

  2. Paul Ryan isn’t a lot of things. He’s not conservative enough for my liking (generalizing there). His budget plan is just Democrat-lite and doesn’t really balance the budget or get spending under control. I hesitated to say he’s not conservative enough for that reason, but on the flip side, I love his boldness to suggest cutting Obamacare in his budget! He also isn’t a strong debater. As dumb as Biden looked, he was charming and made Ryan look like a pocket-protector wearing geek. He also won’t be himself. He’ll struggle like Palin with Romney labels.

Rick Perry, not sure if he’ll run again, but I don’t think he’ll get it just because he’s from the same state as George Bush. Christy…do I really need to explain that one? NO!!! Jeb, he’s definitely not conservative in my opinion and he’ll definitely have a HUGE problem unless he changes his last name and deletes the records like Obama. I seriously hope he does NOT run in 2016, if not to just save the embarrassment and ridiculing the media will give the Republican party for even considering him!

I think it goes as “understood” that I would gladly take any of them over the alternatives from the Democrats. But again, unless some things change in the next 2-3 years, I think our best bet is Rubio/Rand for 2016.

    On to other topics:

The Mexico trip was a while ago. The big number that sticks out to me is the $1.4 BILLION we spend on the royal family each year! How about you cut back on a few vacations and open up the White House again and help save the FAA from making the skies “dangerous?” This guy is a joke and KILLING our country! Another $200 MILLION to help a country that hates us in the Middle East?! Come on!

Gun/tax/and healthcare…oh boy…I need to go eat dinner lol

As for the shape-shifter guy. I saw that the other day and tried Googling a normal picture of the guy and couldn’t find one. I think it’s just poor camera quality and the idea comes from Ron Paul I’m pretty sure, maybe one of the pot smokers in Colorado? I will say, my dad and I were watching the Bible on the History Channel last Sunday when “Satan” tempted Jesus in the desert. As soon as we saw it we looked at each other and had the same look of “man that looks like Obama!” LOL Sure enough, next day it was all over the news! Great stuff LOL

Ok, that’s enough for now. Mike, I’ve tried calling a few times. Wanted to say “thank you” for the Natalie’s Valentine! It was very thoughtful and kind :) Hope everyone is doing well, and look forward to reading Peter’s comments!

  3. Oh my, where to begin... (we need to find a way to make this more open... so these subpost don't become posts of there own.)

2016... Idk maybe the pessimistic side is coming out tonight but, will we even make it? And if so, what will the world look like?

Mexico: I wrote a note on FB a while back called "Crowned King Nothing" based on the lyrics of the Metallica song. He is the grand king now, the king of nothing... Nothing but debt.

Taxes: Only thing guaranteed more than your impending death.

    Healthcare: Synonymous with Taxes.

Guns: There are scary whispers on the wind, and they are not coming from the govt... Seriously, some of it freaks me out, if a civil war breaks out... I think it's going to start in NY.

As to the next President... I could go all night. My money is on Rand... Rubio will(IMHO)not make it past the primaries. Can you imagine the first Latino president a Republican, gasp, a TEA PARTY member... no it can't be. They will destroy him, they have too. Rand they will let slide and try to kill him with his fathers shadow and his libertarian "extremist" views. After they draw and quarter Rubio.

But, once again, that's if we make it to 2016... Glenn Beck said something before the last election and it's still ringing in my ears. To paraphrase, these people are so evil, and are in it so deep, they will burn this country to the ground before they give up or get caught. And after seeing Benghazi... I think they will play their fiddles with joy while the world burns.

It reminds me of one of Kipling's poems:

"When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "The Wages of Sin is Death."

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
    By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "If you don't work you die." ... And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!"

  4. Or we just need to start up that weekly/bi-weekly podcast with all three of us LOL

I’m with ya Peter, I wonder if we’ll make it to 2016 as well and what kind of train wreck will we be at that time. Our country is on the brink of war with itself and the world isn’t much better off. As stupid and messed up as we’ve become, they’re still watching us as the foundation. If we crumble, the world will see massive negative effects. That’s why I have to have some kind of hope for a conservative leader in 2016. Of course, this is an important time to note that we as believers need to be even more in prayer and hope of the return of our King! (LOTR pun intended)

I’ve seen a few AR-15’s for sale online but I honestly don’t know what to look for in one, there are WAY too many variations. A friend recommended an AK-47 and skip the towel on the head lol But there too, there are so many variations, I don’t want to buy a crap maker ya know? As for the civil war, I think it’s coming, but I don’t think we’ll be the only country involved, there are a LOT of other crazy countries/dictators that want to see us fall or have a piece of ownership. It’s going to be a mess! As for starting locations, I’m guessing either NY, possibly TX or AZ.

Yup, Rubio will have a few things to overcome, but I think he can do it. But you’re right, you can’t be a “minority” and be conservative…how is that possible? Lol (again, Herman Cain)

As for what Glenn said…scary ain’t it?

  5. Couldn’t fit this in the above post but wanted to share this with you guys…

Below is a Facebook thread that one of my “friends” posted recently. I went to school and church with him growing up. He’s a great guy and VERY active in local politics. Unfortunately, he’s done a Christy and moved from the right to the left. I changed their names to initials and left my name so you could see my responses.

Original Post - JT - The Amherst Dairy Queen has cheese curds. Naturally, I was excited at the prospect of enjoying this bypass-inducing treat outside of fair week. However, it is not the same. They look factory formed and they use mozzarella instead of cheddar.

LD - It's the best thing ever!! I bet it would be terrible with cheddar. Lol. We found them once in the store and they were good to, but now they have just disappeared. I also like how I comment on almost all of your food statuses. HAHA, fat kid problems

Kenny Birdsall - if they can cause health problems, we should ban them, that way you wouldn't be a burden to society

JT - Like large drinks? I kinda agree with what Bloomberg was trying to accomplish there. Smart guy
Kenny Birdsall - seriously?! why does he need to make that decision? I completely agree that soda/pop has no nutritional value and is very unhealthy, but aren't there more pressing issues?

JT - Consumers are dumb. Marketers know this. It has to do with perceived value. By increasing the size of your regular size drink for a few more cents you think you're getting a good value. What you are really getting is more calories. Which leads to health issues and increased medical costs that the city of New York will partially absorb in some fashion. Obviously he didn't have the legal right to regulate soda size but at least he brought attention to the issue

Kenny Birdsall - So why wasn't he just consistent with food labels and force calorie counts on the cups? consumers would then be "educated?" But not allowing a pizza delivery guy to deliver a 2 liter? seriously? does he think that most people are ordering a 2 large pizzas and a 2 liter for just one person? Why is he not going after the unhealthy pizza or the greasy burger and fries that the people are buying with their now small Coke? As for the medical thing, this is why government controlled health care is a problem. It's one more way to regulate and control the people! As for your last point, EXACTLY! He had no right to regulate it, so WHY was he trying to? Why is there such a push from the left to grab power and control peoples' lives? That city is so screwed up, there are SO many more important issues than this. It's childish and a waste of taxpayer dollars

JT - Government does a lot of regulation already in the interest of protecting the public. I get the impression that people think that government is this alien entity that controls our lives instead of being what it actually is: a representative of the people, for the people, and by the people.

    ...to be continued...

  6. Just for the record...I hate HTML limitations! lol

Kenny Birdsall - but there are different types of government, and ours was not set in such a way as to feed our every desire or need. What they are creating is a people that are lazy and unable to educate or care for themselves. It's easy to make a law that forces people to give up some of their money to give to those in need. It takes a lot more effort to get to know someone and challenge them to give from their heart. When they do, they gladly give more and have an active role in helping the person in need. A law that says "you can't say this soda is healthy" when studies prove over and over that it is in fact unhealthy, would make sense. A law saying "you can't buy a soda over 32 oz" is overkill and ineffective in helping people understand the heart of the matter. If 2 people are going to share it, it would actually save them money, thus the law is not helpful in this example. I sell life insurance, they have laws that regulate what i can and cannot do as an agent. Good, there are people out there hurting consumers! Those are laws that make sense! The Consumer Protection Act is very helpful! But, I don't believe in a government that won't even allow people to make mistakes. They have become an over-protective parent that doesn't allow their child to learn on their own sometimes.
Let's go back to the Garden for a moment. God set the rules and the consequences for the rules. But even God let Adam and Eve make mistakes, and the mistake they made was of FAR greater consequences than drinking a soda! If God can allow us to make a mistake that changes all of humanity, and even put the burden of the cross on Himself, then I think the government can let us choose how much soda we want to drink.
(For the record, it is a VERY rare thing for me to drink soda/pop. I know the health consequences and have chosen all by myself to eliminate it from my diet, with occasional indulgences lol)

Kenny Birdsall - Replace "toilets" with pretty much any product...

No one made anymore comments after that lol
